Quick Guide (to how it works)!

What happens in a guidance/coaching session?
We will discuss the information you have made available in the initial application form if relevant. We will then look at where you are now and where you want to get to and lastly of course, how to get you there. Any additional issue that may arise as part of the discussions will also be covered.

What happens if I can’t make a session?
Don’t worry – things happen in life. Just let me know at least 48 hours beforehand, and we’ll just rearrange for another time.

When do I pay for my sessions, and how?
You will need to pay for your sessions upfront either by cash at the beginning or by bank transfer.

Where do we meet? What happens if I live too far to travel?
If you’re local, we can meet in a coffee shop, hotel lobby or similar. Don’t worry; there’s always plenty of places to meet up. If you live in the East Midlands region, I can drive to your area, but for mileages over 25 miles in total, there will be a charge of 40 pence per mile.

How long is a typical session?
Sessions are usually one hour in length, although 90 minutes is possible. Any longer and concentration begin to wane.

What if I want to terminate our sessions early If I’ve bought a three-session package?
Sometimes a client will have a ‘light bulb’ moment and the issues holding a person back disappear. That’s fine. I don’t charge for sessions not used.

What happens if I feel the session is not getting to the real issue at hand or I feel uncomfortable at any stage?
Just say. This is your time, so don’t feel obliged to continue if you think there is something else you wish to cover or would prefer not to cover as we progress.
